Process intelligence for any organization

See your whole organization as one living map.

Every process, scored three ways — how well it runs, what happens if it fails, and how much it matters — rolled up from the smallest sub-process to the business as a whole. So you can see where the holes and the exposure are, fix the right thing first, and watch it improve.

A first draft built from what you already have · your organization at your-organization.processladder.com

How it works

From a folder of documents to a scored map, without a consultant in the room.

  1. 1

    Give it something to read

Upload the documents you already have — org charts, SOPs, policies, job descriptions — or answer a few plain questions about who does what.

  2. 2

    The map builds itself

Process Ladder drafts your departments, functions, processes and sub-processes as a nested map, flags what it isn’t sure about, and lets you correct it in place.

  3. 3

    Assess with anchored questions

For each process, pick the statement that is true. Five enablers set the maturity level — the weakest one names the next step. Risk and importance follow the same plain language.

  4. 4

Fix what matters first, and watch it move

Priority, gap flags and roll-ups are computed from the record, never scored by hand. Every assessment is kept, so progress is a line you can point to.

Three lenses

Three separate scores. Never blended into one number.

A well-run process that doesn’t matter and a chaotic one that everything depends on should never look the same. So each process carries three lenses, and priority is derived from all of them — with the reasoning shown.

Maturity

How well is it built and run?

Five enablers — design, performers, owner, infrastructure, metrics — each with behaviourally anchored levels 0 to 4. The process is only as mature as its weakest enabler, and that enabler's next statement is the next step.

Risk

What happens if it fails?

Likelihood and impact on concrete scales, looked up in a severity-weighted table — a severe impact is never “low risk”. Controls you record reduce inherent risk to residual; the product of two numbers is never shown as the risk.

Importance

How much does it matter?

Four plain statements, from Supporting to Critical, set the weight and the target level a process should reach. Anything required by law or contract is Critical by rule.

Why Process Ladder

The map is the database.

Drawing tools give you boxes. Here every node carries its scores, its owner, its risk and its history; scores roll up the tree; and the diagram is just one view of structured data — alongside heat maps, gap reports and progress charts.

  • Roll-ups show distributions, the weakest child and the worst risk — never an average that hides the hole.
  • Gap flags are computed from the record: no owner, undocumented, no metrics, single point of failure, review overdue.
  • Every assessment is an append-only dated record. History is real, and a raise is a raise.
  • One accountable owner per process, and the roster fills as you assign them.

Security and tenancy

Each organization on its own address.

Your workspace lives at your-organization.processladder.com, and everything about it stays there.

Your own address

Every organization has its own subdomain. Sign-in, sessions and data are scoped to it — a session on one address is worthless on another.

Isolated by the database

Tenant isolation is enforced in the application and again by row-level security in Postgres, so a query can’t cross into another organization even by mistake.

Sessions that end

Sign-in uses an HttpOnly cookie on your address only; signing out ends the session on the server, and a password reset ends every session.

Your documents stay yours

Uploads are stored encrypted in your workspace, can be deleted at any time, and are never used to train anything.

Pricing

One price for the whole organization.

Plans grow with the number of processes you map, never with the number of people. Bring in every owner, performer and assessor at no extra cost. Try Business free for 30 days — no card needed.
